Department of Writing, Rhetoric, & Discourse – DePaul University
As a department assistant, I currently write and manage content for the department’s official website: wrd.depaul.edu and blog: depaulwrd.wordpress.com.

Welfare 75th Anniversary – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
As an editorial intern, I was a member of a special projects teams charged with creating a new website to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Church welfare program. The site includes three main sections: Day of Service, The Church Welfare Plan, and Through the Years: Timeline.

I contributed copy and editing to all three portions of the site working collectively with the project manager, IT manager, graphic designer, and a fellow intern. The timeline portion of the site was assigned specifically to myself and another intern. It required extensive researching of key milestones, obtaining appropriate images, and writing cohesive prose within established word limits.

Alumni Association – Utah State University
As a marketing assistant and web content manager, I was responsible for maintaining the association’s official website: alumni.usu.edu and publishing the association’s monthly e-newsletter: Aggie Insights.

In addition to daily edits and updates to the site, I also managed online event registration. I started initially only writing the e-newsletter spotlight article each month, but quickly took over the entire publication after a few months with the association.
